The Richer Life Experience

This past Saturday at church we had the Richer Life Experience for Women, and it was awesome. This was a life changing experience for me. The topics, the ministry time, the small groups were very inspiring. I am glad I went to this event. I met knew people, and hearing other people's experiences and struggles that they go through sometimes gives a different perspective to your own battles. I came into  this feeling pretty heavy, but I wanted to go with an open heart. I told God " Lord I need to feel your presence; I need to know that you are with me; I need you to work in my life." It felt that in each teaching God was talking to me in some way and ministering to my heart. To me it was life a healing process. Sometimes we go through things in life, and get so deep in our pain, our emotions, and our surroundings that we tend to loose our main focus in God. That day, God reminded me, that I was in his hands, and He has everything under control. Lord Thank you for guiding me.

Arise

Well, today I started studying the book of Joshua. I'm only in chapter one, but it is already a wonderful chapter. After Moses death, God told Joshua to arise and cross the Jordan. To me that meant to keep moving forward; to follow God in every aspect of the way. God told him-1. every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you...2. I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 3. Be strong and of good courage. 4. turn not from it to the right hand or to the left ( the law), that thou may proper whithersoever thou goest. As long as we keep trusting God and have him first in our lifes, He will take care of us! God is always faithful. He will get us through when circumstances occur in our life. The Lord wants us to enjoy his guidance. And although we might think that the Jordan is a big river to cross, for God nothing is impossible.  We just simply have to keep trusting God. More thoughts to come :)

The Beauty that sometimes we don't see.

How do you know when you've gone too far or have taken a road that makes you loose focus of the main picture? Hearing other people's testimonies or life experiences can really make a difference on how you look at things in life. The preacher last night, stated that there is a time and a season for everything. He showed us a winter picture; the branches are all pale and leafless, it looked cold, and muddy. And that is how sometimes we look at ourselves or our situations. And we tell ourselves that this is never going to end. One thing after another. But God, always looks at the bigger picture. In God's mind, he's looking at our problems in a different way. Soon enough the snow will melt, the grass will become greener, the trees will be full of leaves, and he flowers will bloom. There is always a light at the end of every tunnel. We just have to see it through God's eyes. He is our strength, and our light. We can't let our problems take away from the blessings that God has for us. We have to let God guide us every step of the way.

The Beginning

Wow, how can I start this. So far the past couple of years have been hard, but at the same time incredibly amazing. I have lost some important people in my life that meant the world to me, and it has taken me a while to click into reality that life moves on. My life felt like it froze on me, and although I lived my life normally, I felt numb; if that makes any sense.I guess I let the sadness over empower my life. I have been going to an amazing church for the past couple of months, and I love it. The worship and the teachings are amazing. God has spoken to my life in so many ways. I don't glorify him enough. Looking back at everything I went through, God was there consoling me, He was there taking care me, providing me, and giving me things that I did not expect. He was there every step of way. And even though I don't understand why things happen in life, I am so grateful for my family, for what I have, and for the blessings that I know God has for me. This year and the years to come, I plan to make everything moment worthwhile, and enjoy what matters most!
